Exams Information

Summer 2024 Exams:

The date of the first (written) examination on the common timetable will be the 9th May and the last date will be the 25th June.  The JCQ have set Thursday 6th June, Thursday 13th June and Wednesday 26th June as Contingency Days and all candidates will be expected to be available to sit an exam(s) on these days in the event of significant national or regional disruption during the common timetable period.

The dates on which students will be issued with their individual summer exam timetables and when these will be viewable to students and parents/carers via Edulink will be issued as soon as available.

Results Days for Summer 2024 Exams:

Results days will take place on:

  • Thursday 15th August 2024: GCE (AS/A-Level) and Vocational Level 3 results
  • Thursday 22nd August 2024: GCSE and Vocational Level 2 results

Results will be issued in the main Hall (AG01) which will be accessible from the College's main Reception from 9:00am on both days. If you are driving to the College to collect your results, please ensure you park in the Leisure Centre car park.

Please note that we are unable to issue results over the telephone or by email but students unable to attend will be able to view their results via Edulink from 2pm on the relevant afternoon.  If students wish to nominate someone to collect their results on their behalf, they will need to email the Exams Office (exams@uckfield.college) with details by no later than Monday 12th August.  The person who is nominated will need to provide photo ID (e.g. driving licence or passport) when collecting the results.

Certificates from the Summer 2023 Exams

Certificates for the June 2023 exams will be issued to students at the annual Presentation Evenings organised by the respective year group teams which are being held on Tuesday December 5th for former Year 11 students and Thursday December 14th for former Year 13s.  (Further details regarding these events will be provided by the respective Heads of Year nearer the time.)

Certificates for any students who are unable to attend the presentation evening MUST BE COLLECTED FROM THE COLLEGE.  THEY WILL NOT BE POSTED OUT.  Please contact the Exams Office (exams@uckfield.college) AFTER the relevant presentation evening date above to arrange a date and time during normal College hours on which to collect your certificates.

Please note that, in accordance with exam Board requirements, certificates will only be retained by the College for a set period of time and will be destroyed after one year from receipt if not collected and students will need to seek replacements from the exam Board(s) at their own cost.

You must bring proof of ID to collect certificates.  If any person other than the student themselves is to be designated to collect certificates, the Exams Office must receive authorisation (in writing or via exams@uckfield.college), in advance, from the student concerned in which they nominate the person who will be collecting them on their behalf.  The person collecting will also need to show photo ID (i.e. either a driving licence photo card or passport) when coming in to pick up certificates.

Certificates from the Summer 2021 and Summer 2022 Exams

You must make arrangements with the Exams Office (exams@uckfield.college) to collect your certificates - CERTIFICATES WILL NOT BE POSTED OUT.  Any certificates from the summer 2021 and summer 2022 exams that remain uncollected by 31st December 2023 will be destroyed in accordance with exam Board requirements and the student will be responsible for obtaining replacements and for the cost of doing so.  Please note that a form of photo ID (e.g. driving licence or passport) will need to be presented when certificates are collected.  Please be aware that certificates are legal documents and they will not be issued without the correct documentation.
