Making a donation of at least £19.53 a year means that you become a member of The 1953 Society.
1953 Society
1953 Society members are part of a community of alumni and friends, who support Uckfield College, which opened its doors in 1953. Members play a crucial role in ensuring students receive excellent academic support and pastoral care; it is especially important to ensure we can continue to level the playing field for students who come from what are often termed ‘disadvantaged’ backgrounds. Becoming a member of the 1953 Society demonstrates a strong endorsement of Uckfield College’s mission - to support and challenge each individual to achieve personal excellence. Membership can be obtained through an annual donation of £19.53, or by helping to connect us with your company to create partnerships, providing invaluable resources and opportunities for our students.
As a member of the 1953 Society, you will receive a commemorative badge, regular updates on Uckfield College developments, and invitations to exclusive events, including an annual gathering for members.
Your support makes a tangible impact, enabling transformative initiatives such as bursaries for equipment or clothing, travel grants, assistance with university interviews, and access to high quality external interventions.
