Urgent notice - Friday March 2nd

Dear Parents, Carers and Students,

Thank you for your understanding regarding the difficult decisions taken over the last three days to close our College.

Our caretaking team and other staff have been working hard to make the site safe, so we will be open today (Friday 2 March) as normal at 9am. There is a forecast of snow later, so we may close early. If we do, we will email all parents and put a notice on our website.

Urgent notice -Thursday March 1st.

Update: 08:15 am

Dear Parents, Carers and Students

Unfortunately, the weather forecast has changed for Uckfield from light snow all day today to light snow followed by heavy snow from 2pm. While the buses / coaches can pick students up this morning, they cannot guarantee that they can bring them home whether we close early or at the normal time. Therefore, we are closing again today.

All students must do all work set on Google Classroom by tomorrow. Detentions will be given to any student who has not completed all work set during the school closure days.

Due to icy conditions on site, limited bus / coach company transport for students and two broken boilers, Uckfield Community College will close for all students today. Students will have work set for all lessons on Google Classroom, which they must complete by tomorrow. Thank you for your understanding.
